Another gorgeous Pop singer who is incredibly proud of her Mexican heritage. She has some things in common with Selena Gomez such as they are close friends since their childhood, both were Disney's girls and Demi is super devoted to her Spanish lessons. |
Skyscraper is a meaningful song to Demi because it came out after of a terrible time in her life. During years she went thorugh serious problems with her diet and her guy at that moment, Joe Jonas left and ignored her. Her parents led her to rehabilitation centre and within a couple of months she could get it over.
In that centre, she received millions of supporting messages from her fans around the world, but at one interview she said "my fans from Mexico were and have been the best." She didn't give more details, but with that enough reason Demi recorded her amazing hit, "Skyscraper" in Spanish, "Rascacielos." It's a tribute to her Latin fans.
